Contra-indications to receiving a massage

  • When you have a fever, viral infections, infectious diseases, vascular diseases, dermatological conditions, swelling, extreme exhaustion.

  • When hesitant it is advisable to seek advise from your General Practitioner of Specialist

  • If you suffer high blood pressure, heart disease, kidney- or lung- disease; it is best to discuss with your Doctor


  • Padme Therapy will not be held responsible for damage and/or injury resulting from the holding back of medical information such as physical and/or mental ailments, pregnancy, injuries, allergies or medicine use.

  • It is the responsibility of the client to keep the clinic informed of any current medical conditions or any changes in health before each session.

  • Please arrive on-time to your appointment. If you arrive late your session may be shortened in order to accommodate appointments that follow yours. Full payment for your scheduled session will still be expected.

  • We have a zero tolerance policy and any sexual advances, innuendo, or inappropriate touching will not be tolerated and is grounds for immediate termination of your session.

  • Massage therapy and bodywork are intended to enhance relaxation, reduce pain, increase range of motion, improve circulation, and offer a positive experience of touch. Massage therapists do not diagnose illness, disease, or any other physical or mental disorders. As such, massage therapists do not prescribe medical treatment or pharmaceuticals, nor do they perform spinal manipulations.  Massage is not a substitute for medical treatment or diagnoses, and it is recommended that you see a physician for any conditions that you may have.

  • A massage therapist is neither a physiotherapist or a psychologist

  • Spiritual healing and energy work are not a substitute for traditional medical treatment or psychotherapy.

  • None of the information provided is intended to act as a substitute for medical advice, nor does it involve the diagnosis, prognosis, or prescription of remedies for the treatment or prevention of any disease or ailment.
